My One thousand Loved Ones is a furniture installation to bring new perspectives to the art of Mexican textile weavings and folkloric music. Artist Paulette selected 13 pieces to serve as the basis for her project, each representing a unique style, form, function and history in itself.

She has been interested in the conjunction of the contemporary and the ancestral worlds where she has found her media of expression. Conceptual pieces made of textiles from different corners of Mexico; vehicles for fantasy, creating multiple levels of interpretation and enjoyment.

Mil Amores es una instalación mobiliaria que desea expresar diferentes perspectivas sobre el arte mexicano del textil y de la música folclórica. Paulette seleccionó 13 piezas para servir como base de su proyecto conceptual donde cada una representa un estilo único tanto en su forma como en su función e historia.

Ella ha estado siempre interesada en la conjunción de los mundos ancestrales y contemporáneos en donde ella encuentra su medio de expresión. Piezas conceptuales hechas de textiles diversos de regiones de México; vehículos que transmiten fantasías, creando múltiples niveles de interpretación y encanto.
